Runing to the "BASE"

I was listening to a pastor this morning, and what he said made me think about where was I on my Spiritual walk with the Lord;
he mention a story about a baseball player, that after riting the ball and run for the base, was desqualified, was OUT, just because one simple thing:
" he forgot the first base ".....
Many times we do go to church, " PAY " our tithes, do our duty, but in the end we are heading straight to hell....
The biblie said we can not enter the kingdon of haven if we are not BORN AGAIN.....this is something to think about...(You do no want to be desqualified!!) ! John 3:3
Many people go to church to be entertained or to entertaine others, we go to have a good time, to get together with acquantancies, to belong, but the only way we can belong to the Church of Jesus Christi, is to be born again, is to have a conviction of the heart and of the mind ( not of the feeling) that
we need a Savior, that without Him (Jesus Christ) we will just get tired of runing, if we don't understand this principel..
Today I fell inspired to encourage you to see where you are standing, to check if you are realy born again, to make sure your relationship is not only with buddies at the local church, but a real relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ..
Remeber, He died not so you could have fun, but He died so you could have aboundant life and live your life for Him. John 10:10
