Church Miami Style!
Fear the wrath of God
The other day I heard this godly man saying that the church is like a marriage, that you don't give up on the first fight, immediately in my thoughts I agree with him....but then I star to think about it, and it took me back to a experience a had some time ago about a couple that was getting a divorce….
when I star to analyze how came a so potential marriage came to an end I realize few things; first of all, they were very blessed, they were healthy and strong people, God bless then with a house, a job, kids, a amazing church.....but the man star to take a bite of everything God would bless him with , enjoy it and then spit on it, throw it to the floor, step on it and eventually dispose it into the garbage, in another words he took everything for granted; now I wonder why did this marriage did not work out……
of course you don't give up on the first fight, or the second, or third for it is supposed to last forever, but even God gave a escape to bad marriages when He said that " because of our hard, strong willed hearts, the law was allowing a divorce, but only because our prideful attitudes.......Mark 10:4
I also learn that is always easy to blame the other patty, because this game is so old, we never want to assume responsibilities and keep on with the blaming game, how childish, I wonder how God sees that!?
Then I remember the parable of talents, and sure enough that blessing that could belong to that man was then given to another....Mark 25:15
As I was pondering on that, it came to mind about some churches, that God wants to bless, He trust the pastors and leaders and deacons with a potential place, fill it with a lot of loving people (at least God loves then), give then resources, give then men after Gods on heart, then pride and arrogance starts to take over…….Jeremiah 23
